Sorry bro I wasn't online at all yesterday afternoon I went to the Don Henley concert last night. I'm availible right now but by the looks of it you're at the WVU game so I guess we'll have to wait until later tonight if I'm around or first thing tommmorow morning. Most likely tommorow.

OOC - Well Ed and I got our game in, it was restarted because the servers wouldn't allow us to play the first-time so we tried again and had a pretty shitty User game, IMO. Ed only played a minute into the second half, telling me to finish against the CPU where I had a 31-14 lead at the time. He said his controller broke so this win feels undeserved.

---------

OK ST - 63 WVU - 21

After having defeated the Nittany Lions last week, the Oklahoma State Cowboys offence looked to be in full-stride against the West Virginia Mountaineers. Coach Macc had yet to meet Coach Ed in action since beginning his career last year and the two had rather comparable seasons last year so it had all the fixings for a good match.

The Cowboys scored on both of the first plays of the game from them, from the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Kyle Staley, known to be a linebackers nightmare with his skill in the play-action game froze all linebackers and a slanting Mike Matthews who saw one on one coverage just a step behind the EERS SS had nothing but daylight infront of him. Matthews had another brilliant day catching 7 balls for 139 yards and three of his catches went for touchdowns.

The Cowboys kicked the ball away with the 7-0 lead at this point and on the very first play WVU tried a toss left that ended with the ball on the ground and RE Charles Carter picked it up with nobody around him and ran it in for the score, the first of his career.

"The defense were just ball-hawks today. They're a very fine group of athletes who all work hard together to make eachother better and shut down opposing offences. We corrected a lot of what we saw in the Ole Miss game and have used it the past two weeks only allowing 7 points in 4 quarters of 2nd half football,"

Daytawion Lowe, the teams defensive captain, SS and vocal leader had a good day patrolling center field with two TFL and an interception on a great play he tracked down from the opposite side of the field.

"Coach Macc had us working hard and telling us all week what it is we needed to focus on and we got the job done. I'm really comfortable with this defence and the play-calling. I haven't had to call an audible in the past two-weeks, something I'm usually very comfortable with and often do," Lowe admits.

Adrian Richards who was a Heisman hopeful at the beginning of the year couldn't be happier with the way his teams rallied the past two weeks. He was kept out of the endzone but he's more than happy with his four catch 94 yard preformance and most of all - that the OK State 'Boys got the W - that was his main concern coming back home.

"It's great to catch touchdowns and be in the endzone, but this is part of a career as a senior. You get the lead and help and coach the younger guys and watch them see the ball because obviously defences are going to cover me tight. It's great to see Mike come in and have the season he is, he'll be a great Cowboy for years to come and I'm sure he'll go high in the draft when he happens to elect for it. It's great to see him come in as such a raw, natural athlete making everything he does look so easy - to transition into the player with some of the knowledge I and Isaiah have invested in him about Big 12 defences," Adrian had to say.

"It's not often you get an opportunity for two third quarter sacks - but we'll take them," Coach Macc said.

On obvious passing downs, it was twice the EERs QB was posted in his own endzone pocket and either DE got a chance to make a big play and give their team two points each time.

"You couldn't ask for more from the team, everybodies fired up and we hope to keep it going throughout the rest of the season,"
