I offered 6 more schollies but may cut one guy to offer this punter. Have 3 OL 3 FS 3 DL as my other 9 guys on the board. Mainly sticking with the trenches and the back end for this class. Offense is pretty much set at all skill positions...I want to develop a suffocating Defense while the offense hits its stride this year and next.

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Wanted to give you guys a quick update. Took Ricky Page off my list. Offered to the punter...kept the 3 guys I didn't offer very interested and may switch to signing a DE and taking the punter off...don't really need him since both of mine are freshman lol May look to sign a big playmaking wideout too. Gotta check out the board and find that diamond in the rough

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Thanks! I've loved using safeties since madden 05 and the defensiv eplaymaker...had a safety that had 168 tackles 20 sacks and 8 picks and won the MVP as a rookie...but it's essential to have safeties when you run the 4-2-5....my Senior Williams is the main cover guy while the freshman sensation Wise is my LB/S Hybrid guy.... he is a beast man...i love my safeties and he is up there as one of my favorite ones ever lol how's recruiting in Oxford going clark?

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
If I can land half of my recruits Ill be happy. I dont even have any 3 stars on mt board, nor any players without me in their top 10 over 31 players
Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Hey long as I keep racking up the W's the recruits will come in :-D I do want better talent to come in though...even though I beat USC I want to become the top program in the nation. Can't do that getting 2 and 3* guys lol

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Signed my 4* Juco Guard... Picked up a huge signee this week in 3* T Nick Howard... have a soft commit from a 3* DE...still second with the DT that I have targeted now he loved his Penn State visit...everyone else is a soon to be Huskie lol...still mainly targeted my OL DL and depth at positions..havent had much injuries but don't want to overload with guys at skill positions lol have young talent at QB WR...may need a TE lol...I'd rather go for balance because I've had NCAA seasons with 7 5* recievers 5 5* RB's and 4 walk on starters on the OL lol not pretty...when I see how you guys are recuriting I think damn man I wana get those guys!!!! lol just gota bide my time i guess lol

I have one schollie open...saving it for when the new recruits get added in...might just save it till next year if no one interests me...I'll be a 5* and can use it on a big time player!!!!

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Offered up 5 schollies since guys left early...Polk left and my RS FR OLB transfered...punk lol I also took a 2* tackle off the board...not gonna waste a roster space on depth this year..OL didnt see any injuries last year..no need to fill for depth...I targeted a SS...a Juco HB...a MLB(i think) a WR and a DT...I'm not looking to add much more..its a make or break with these guys lol

Re: Huskies 2010- The Orgeron effect
Ok here is my in depth Recruiting summary
5* Guys
#1 OVR #1 OLB Garrett Moody- Will start from day 1, will be amazing in the 4-2-5
4* Guys
#153 OVR #16 OLB Tyrell Blair- Slow for an OLB, but will be starting at other LB position in the 4-2-5 if my MLB Mangum isn't in the high 90's
#223 OVR # 19 HB Juco Chad McNeil- A well rounded guy who may redshirt and then look to make an impact in 2012
#230 OVR #14 G Juco Kevin Blankenship- Run blocker who will not RS but may not get on the field which is an automatic RS lol
# 263 OVR #25 SS Jason Thomas- Is going to have the kind of year A.J. Wise had last year...idk which safety i'm gona control more
3* Guys
#283 OVR #27 HB Juco Mike Davis- A flat out burner, will be the offseason spark we'll need in the middle of the field, a true HR threat, and will be our return specialist too.
#359 OVR # 19 T Nick Howard- doesn't get hurt, has strength to pass block, the LT of the future
#492 OVR # 40 OLB Jason Williams- LB corps is strong, will redshirt and be a depth guy the first 2 years, if he develops nicely can start in years 4 and 5.
#548 OVR #34 DT Jermaine Richardson- has good strength but a little small for my taste at DT (6'4 283)
#559 OVR #41 G Luke Burns- A run blocker without much stamina or duarability
#641 OVR #31 DE Bryant Coleman- He's got speed, can tackle, and hit hard too, definite sleeper recruit.
#54 WR David Johnson- May be committed now or a soft commit lol but he's a Possesion guy who is TALL at 6'7...will more than likely be my slot or 4th WR this year..the unit is deep but he's too tall to not start...and if he doesnt make an impact as a true freshman he can RS yr 2
2* Guys
#792 OVR #57 FS Chase Chambers- My FS needs to be fast and he is..can play zone D too
#1064 OVR #85 G Bryan Hagen- Very underated prospect who can do it all except impact block
#1248 OVR #82 FS Jason Bowling- The guy I wanted at FS all along, he has the speed and can TACKLE...will likely RS this year to develop his awareness since Ferguson was an every down DB
#83 DT Sterline Foster- didn't want a walk on DT so chose him over a 3* MLB that had a B rating in tackling, this guy can fill the gaps though.
So there's my recruiting class..pretty good...but next years is gonna be better as a 5* team...I'm not holding back it's nothing but the best rated palyers from here on out!!!!!
