Changes going into Season 3?
Looking for feedback from you Season 1-2 guys... anything you would like to see changed for Season 3? SLiders? More/less user games?
Im gonna try to save the OD offline and advance it on my system just to see who/if gets new job offers, then I will post it and you can choose to take them or not. Just know if you switch teams, you will lose your "user record" on the OD within the game, and I think Coaching prestige. But it also gives you opportunities to play at more schools and move up if you want.
I know if I were TCU and UCF, while building to a 6 star school is cool, Id rather play in a better Conf.
But that sjust me.
Unfortunately EA handcuffs us on what we can do in the ODs... which I hate and if they dont fix it next year I wont buy this game again.

Re: Changes going into Season 3?
One Idea I had is, screw getting the actual offers (Im not 100% they will even come for any other teams besides me if I save the OD offline) and just have a pool of teams that did poorly and would likely fire a coach the season before, and let us all choose from them
Like say, UCF went undefeated this year. The job offers would be pouring in for Strouse.
I look at the current status of the teams, and I see a few 5 star schools (since we will tech be a 5 star OD by next season) may have done poorly, say Georgia went 6-6, WVU went 7-5, Oregon didnt make a bowl, etc.
I would put those job offers to Strouse and he could choose to take one or not.
That simple.
Thoughts?

I like it if the offline doesnt work i liek this idea its easier to implement than the point systems alot of ODs use. And if the Irish have a bad year i can get them sooner!
But i would say we need a system where we either randomly pick who is goign to pick from the lot first or do by some sort of ranking system
and just to let the new guys know, we try to get 3 user games in a year. With most of you joining a conference with another user you only need to find 2 OOC opponents. For this next year i think we are going to assisng matchups and then during the season people can sign new Home and Home series against teams of their choice

I would say do the job offers should be done by user record and conference. Like since UCF went undefeated he should get first crack at job offers..then TCU...then the rest of us BCS schools...but I'm not leaving lmao (unless Ohio St comes calling!!!)...and as far as scheduling goes...3 user games seems good because even if you lose those 3 you can still run the table and get a decent bowl lol

Even though I love being TCU, I would like to move up...maybe not this season, cause I would like to see how some of my new guys do, but next season would be great!!!!

Re: Changes going into Season 3?
Hmm, Im liking this idea the more I think of it. In fact, lets do it. Starting this offseason...
Now to decide the order of selection.
We could do picks by order of:
1. Overall Record
2. User record
3. Final Rank (tho I kinda wanna say Rank should be the #1 factor, since teams that play in the lower conferences have an advantage... thoughts?
4. Better record the previous season
Maybe combine those factors and go from there.
I will take a solid look thru the teams tonight and get a pool of teams that would likely fire a coach and offer you guys a job.
UCF and TCU will likely be the only 2 teams with this option, as they are lower tier conf, had remarkable records over the past 2 seasons, and deserve it
Ill try not to pool Powerhouses just yet, like USC, Michigan, etc... it will prob be more like 5 star teams, maybe some 4 stars mixed in too just for variety
