Week 11

Post  edwvu76 on Thu Sep 17, 2009 12:28 am

TCU 48 UNLV 22
Amon G. Carter Stadium - Ft. Worth, Texas

Another game where the backups got plenty of playing time. The score was alot closer than the actual game, since 15 of UNLV's 22 points came against the backups. Dalton managed the game pretty good, not throwing a interception and adding a TD on 11 of 17 passes for 171 yards. Backup Gellegos was able to get some reps in this week going 10-13 82 yards and a pick. Terrell stayed consistent rushing for 97 yards on 15 carries and 4 TD's. Dean added 70 yards on 11 carries and 1 TD. 9 different receivers contributed with Young gaining 51 yards and the only receiving score. The TE's had a huge game with 9 catches spread among all three of them. DE Forrest led the defense with 6 tackles and 3 sacks. Overall, the defense had 6 sacks. Not a bad win for TCU, but they will have to step it up as they travel to death valley for the second straight year to battle Clemson.
