Week 5 Empty Week 5

Post  gameface1324 Fri Sep 04, 2009 10:43 pm

Is up

Sucked to sim 3 games... but cooch was online at a point tonight and did recruiting but not game, dotts and brother are mia for over 2 days. Not fair to make restrictions to simming then not stick to em. Actually gave over 48 hours as opposed to 24-36. Sucked to see USF and Iowa Lose.

Next sim will be Sunday night, likely late

Week 5 Empty TCU vs New Mexico

Post  edwvu76 Sat Sep 05, 2009 9:35 am

Fort Worth, Texas
TCU 56 New Mexico 21

Week 5 991A0001_2_JPEG_SCREENSHOT_fbN

The Horned Frogs got back on track this week as they hosted the Lobos of New Mexico. New Mexico tried to make it interesting early keeping pace with TCU and making it 14-14 at the end of the first. The Lobos were able to get a KO return for a TD and a long TD pass. After that the Frogs defense came alive shutting UNM out until late in the 4th when the 2nd stringers were already a quarter and a half deep into playing time. True Freshman Terrell was once again the story as he had a career day scoring 4 TD's and going for 164 yards on 17 carries. He also added 51 yards receiving. Backup True Freshman Dean proves to be no slouch adding 81 yards on 8 carries and a TD. Dalton still continues to struggle with his accuracy, throwing two more picks, but adding two TD passes with 248 yards. Backup TE Dille was the recipient of both TD passes. Kerley led all receivers with 87 yards. The defense totalled 4 sacks but once again are unable to create any turnovers. Overall a good bounce back game, but Dalton will need to get his accuracy in order if TCU expects to make noise on the BCS scene again this season.

Week 5 Empty Huskies vs Stanford!!

Post  DMT1809 Sun Sep 06, 2009 3:27 pm

Week 5 Washvsstanyr2

Game recap:

1st Half- The huskies play a strong defensive first series forcing the three and out to start the game. After a good opening drive down the field a 42 yard field goal sailed wide left…making coach T go to his kicker and offer words of encouragement, hoping not to rattle the young 17 yr old walk on. Pierre Smith finds Kavario Middleton for a 25 yard TD pass!!! He was open in the flat and broke two tackles to get into the end zone! Freshman Eric Wise gets the pick to end the 1st qtr. 7-0 Huskies. After another solid start to the ground game with HB Curtis Shaw…the defense cheated up the middle and got beat for a Playaction pass…Smith found WR Devin Aguilar for the 25 yd strike up the middle.

27-3 Halftime Score

Opening drive of the second half was very physical…ran it down their throats as we scored on a 12 yard run…missed 2 extra points so far…subbed out my offensive startes since it was 33-3..still rotated my halfbacks though. Chewed the clock in the fourth quarter.

Stats:
Wash Stan
Score 43 3
First Downs 25 6
Tot Off 520 127
Run-yds-TD 39-271-4 16-36-0
Com-att-TD 17-21-3 12-19-0
Pass yds 249 91
3rd Dwn 6-8 2-9
TOP 19:13 7:18

Pierre Smith 16-20 228 yds 3TD 0 INT 0 SACKS
Two headed Wolf (RB by committee)
Chris Polk 23 car 157 yds 1TD
Curtis Shaw 14 runs 97 yds 2 Tds

Excellent game by my defense. Not much to say statistically got 3 sacks and a pick by freshman sensation Eric Wise…but just all around top notch game..one of the best I’ve ever had defensively…the passing game was spectacular a lot of broken tackles and smith was very sharp Noticed I only ran it 12 times in the 1st half and ran it all over the Defense in the second half…special teams…wtf…this freshman kicker needs to practice a little more he missed 2 extra points and a pretty tough field goal…we may need those points when it’s time for UCLA. Overall grade an A+
