Would you watch/listen to games if you could?
New Streaming Device
I know we all dont have infinite money, but i found something today that is like Slingbox specifically designed for game consoles, called Spawn HD-720.
For those who dont know what Slingbox is its a device that allows you to watch your home Cable Box, Directv box, Dish box, etc on any computer over the internet. Very awesome concept but on slingbox its just watching no playing. With Spawn Labs device there is a USB hook up that you can hook a controller to sync and then you just hop on your computer and play with any usb pc controller you have (the ps3 controller does work on the PC you just have to find the right drivers for it and a longer cord if you are like me and only have a 3ft one ) There is no limit to how many players can be on your system at one time and does not slow down your own system if others are watching you play. Everything gets streamed with a 720p resolution and runs at 30 frames/sec. Now for those who have HDMI (like most of us) you wont be able to use it on this guy because it only takes component. I woudl assume they are working on a Spawn HD-1080 which would include a HDMI port or offer a different model with only HDMI capablilities which would only support the PS3/360 crowd.
Well remember how i said i wish we all had infinite money...yea tahts the downside. This bad boy will set you back $199.95 and is set to come out in Nov. On amazon the price of a slingbox pro HD is $259.50 (normally $299.99), so it is cheaper than getting a slingbox. But there are other options in terms of streaming video over component video cables but they also are all $200. This would be awesome if we all had this to stream a game or two online if other people wanted to watch them (most notably the National Championship game) So i guess what i am getting at would be, if the option was available to you would you watch/listen to games other people played against each other?

I use a TV Tuner card when I broadcast....
It put me back about 30 bucks, and I've broadcasted quite a few times. lol
