I knew it was gonna be a long game early. Iowa got the kickoff, drove all way down field with several 3rd down conversions, and scored on a 17 yd TD pass on a flare pattern to Hampton.

7-0 Iowa

Ole Miss goes 3 and out, after a correct guess on run direction on 3rd and short, and punts.

Iowa with a long TD pass that the Ole Miss CB goes for a Int on, 14-0 Iowa.

Miss puts together a drive, then fumbles in Iowa territory, turning the ball over.

Iowa then gives the ball back over after a failed 4th down run.

3 plays later, Snead throws his first Int of the game on a bad pass. The next play Iowa capitalizes and scores on a 75 yd TD strike.

21-0 Iowa

4 plays later, Ole Miss throws the 2nd pick of the game, again inside Iowa territory. Iowa scores again on the next play, a 57 yd TD pass.

Ole miss puts together a drive, and finally gets on the board, scoring 7 pts on some nice passing, ending with a 12 yard TD from Snead to his TE.

We have a couple of punts, then an Iowa FG at the half, score 31-7 Iowa.

To star the 3rd Quarter, after an Ole Miss punt, Iowa scores a FG making it 34-7. Ole Miss comes back with a drive, ending with yet another fumble on a strip (2nd strip fumble, 0 facemask calls on Iowa).

However Iowa cant move the ball, punts, and Snead leads another scoring drive for the Rebels. 34-14

Iowa finally has their first and only turnover of the game, a 3rd and long Int to start the 4th quarter. Ole miss scores again on a short pass to make it 34-21. It looked like Ole Miss might have a little life and fight back for the improbable win with all the turnovers... alas Iowa eats most of the quarter up with a long drive, scoring yet again to go up 41-21.

Ole Miss scores again, 41-28, but fails to get an onsides kick, and Iowa runs out the clock.
