Created Recruits?

I know it would be a lot to ask for Clark to sit there and plug away at creating some recruits, but if anybodies the type like myself who would be none but happier to - would you guys think that it would add a nice/realistic touch to the recruiting process?

After all - EA will never give us that all-around beast of a Tyrelle Pryor for a QB or the lunatic MLB, both players that would come in and start in any one of our line-ups, without question.

I think it would be a cool idea, all of us desperately trying to recruit the shit out of them and I think it would add nothing but fuel to the bragging rights fire we've currently got building up.

Anybody think it would be an interesting idea?

I know that recruits tend to favour their home-state and defenitely that states #1 and #2 school. It would've been cool to implement this into previous years because we've all taken 3/4* schools and built them up because usually high profile prospects are quick to stay in state, however we would obviously need a system in place so that no school would get the benefit of having too many recruits that would lean towards them, meaning either we'd have to draft (pick the position and player type of the player that would represent your state) so that we've got 12 recruits that correctly represent some freshman players who will come in and have a huge impact immediately.

...or we could say that none of the players are to be from any of the states that have a school represented in our OD.

Either way this would finally give us some receiving type TEs, coverage Safeties instead of EA jewing us with only blocking TEs and hard hitting Safeties.

I like the idea, but I don't think clark has the option to do that online!!!!

ya he does he can make recruits before the off season process. but its alot of work for 1 and for 2 to do 12 of them would take him a while. but i agree ea will never give u a 250lb beast rb or a 6 foor 7 wr. so i like the idea. maybe u base the stats around a real 80-83 5 star ea made and tweek it a bit to make it what we think is exeptional. a good idea but i think its impossible to do

I've been creating and naming recruits since NCAA 07. When last-gen didn't have the ability to trade rosters like we can do today - I sat and plugged away at names, dates, hometowns etc. etc. Call it what you want but I'd be none happier to. With that being said, of course I've only been around for this 3rd season and I'm sure there's a lot at risk with this great OD we've got to grant access or whatever. Personally, I'm not sure how that would even be possible but I could knock out 12 recruits in less than an hour.

Mac ur a beast lol but hey ask the commish to take a poll on it and see what everyone thinks. it would be great to fight over a mike vick type quartedback. that changes ur school for 3 to 4 years.i think as long as we all agree to the terms on it and its fair could be a nice new dynamic. but we are the new guys here so maybe we take a poll on it like we did for the sliders... n try to come to terms. how do co comishs work? commish we need some feed back lol

lol I expect this thread to leave plenty for Clark to read when he gets back or gets access. I'm not trying to over-step boundaries or anything I just think it would be a good idea and I've never seen or heard of this implemented into an online dynasty. You bring up good points, Spesh that 1) it would most defenitely change a team's dynamics adding the type of player college's indeed have to battle over... much like the coveted battle of Big 10 rivals for Tyrelle Pryor two years ago and 2) yes, I AM a beast.

You can only do that before the 1st season.

maybe not. here is an idea... now it may be a bit much so imma throw it out there n idk see what u think. commish could convert to an offline dynasty make the recruits in the offseason cause i am sure it gives u the option offline. n then put back up the dynasty n *poof* real life crazy ability recruits. now i know its alot with all the invites n everything but hey just an idea. what do u guys think?

The thing is if we advance offline and invite all back, everyone loses their prestige and records and stuff, and if it isnt worth it to do it for coaching and conf changes, it def isnt worth it for this stuff you guys are talking about
