Milan Puskar Stadium - Morgantown, WV
#11 WVU 51 #1 Clemson 37

Week 14 991A0001_3_JPEG_SCREENSHOT_VbR

In the pouring snow, the #1 ranked Clemson Tigers made their way to Touchdown City to face the Mountaineers. This game started off with a bang as Clemson kicked short and gave WVU great field position. Mark Rogers would take a pitch on the very first play 49 yards untouched. Before the crowd could even get finished celebrating, Clemson HB McDowell took their first play pitch 65 yards untouched to even things out. On the ensuing kickoff, Stedman Bailey scampered 81 yards for 6. The score was 14-7 and only 2 offensive plays were ran. The teams would settle down after that, but the offenses would still remain hot in the cold weather. Clemson would drive down to the redzone where they would eventually stall and have to settle for a fg making it 14-10. After another Bailey return to midfield, Rogers would take the handoff off tackle and go 51 yards to paydirt. After a Okanume interception, WVU would begin driving again, only this time Bailey fumbles when hit by the Clemson Safety and the EERS looked dumbfounded as they just stood around the ball, Hall would eventually pick it up for the tigers and rumble 56 yards for the score. Finally the first quarter would end with the score 21-17.

The second quarter, both teams traded TD's as Rogers ran one in from 4 yards out and FB Jordan Roberts scored on a 2 yard dive. Clemson's scoring would come from a 1 yard run by Parker and a 47 yard pass from Boyd to Jones. Tyler Bitancourt would add a fg as time expired in the half, pushing WVU's lead to 31-20

The second half would be more of a defensive battle. The only offensive points of the 3rd quarter was a Bitancourt fg, but WVU would get a 63 yard int return by SS Scott on a ball that Boyd threw as he was getting blasted.

In the 4th, Bitancourt would add another fg after Scott picked up a fumble and headed into Clemson territory. Clemson would end the scoring on a 5 yard pass to Heisman frontrunner Baldwin. WVU would recover the onside kick sealing the deal. Couches will be burned tonight in Morgantown!!!!!

Key Stats:

Eugene Smith 11-11 139 yards
Coley White 2-2 27 yards

Mark Rogers 17 for 151 3 TD's

Robert Sands 11 Tackles
Derek Knight 6 Tackles 1 FFumble
Johnathon Scott 1 Int 1 Fumble Recovery 1 TD

This is going to be interesting. TAMU has had 6 ranked opponents, it's only loss to the only undefeated team in the Nation. If a 1 loss Big XII Champ can't get a shot over a 1 loss Pac-10 or Big East this is just more BCS crap, if Ole Miss gets in over TAMU that's fine, but if we don't make a push after destroying the Gators in the Swamp 66-7 I'm gonna be mad. TAMU has one more chance to prove thier case agianst #20 Nebraska, hopefully the BCS can get it right...

Snow on the blue turf. That is what we had today as the Ole Miss Rebels went into Boise, Idaho to take on the #10 ranked Broncos.

The sequence of events in the 1st quarter was punt, punt, punt, int, punt. Only one first down total in the quarter, by the Rebels. The end of the 1st, and start of the 2nd, saw a whopping 17 play 78 yard drive by the Rebels to score a TD, when Brandon Bolden ran it in from 2 yards out.

The following drive saw Boise St go 3 and out yet again, but Ole Miss did the same thing after the punt. The Broncos would finally convert a couple 3rd down passes, and scored a TD on a 3rd and goal, tying the game at 7-7 with 1:53 in the half.

The Rebels would answer, after a 38 yard run by Bolden, Freshman QB Blake Harrell would hit his TE Epperson for a TD with 34 seconds left in the half. 14-7.

Getting the kickoff, Ole Miss would go to work early. A 9 yard run by Bolden would set up 2nd and inches, and coach Gameface called a gamble. He ran a PA Pass with his WR on a go route, and hit it for a 48 yard gain, setting up Bolden to run it in 2 plays later. 21-7 Ole Miss.

Boise started driving, completing several passes and long runs, including a 4th down conversion. But when it needed to step up, the Ole Miss D did, picking off a pass. A long drive later, and Ole miss settles for a FG. 24-7 Ole Miss.

After another Boise TD, Ole Miss answered with a long drive of their own, scoring on a 11 yard run by Bolden. 31-14 Ole Miss. Then on the kickoff, a Boise fumble would give Ole Miss the ball again. Bolden again with a big run, and E. Davis would run the ball in from 1 yard out.

The final score was 38-20. Brandon Bolden carried the load to take MVP honors, as Ole Miss didn't want a freshman QB throwing much on the road in the snow. He ran the ball 33 times for 188 yards and 3 TDs.

I noticed you started your game at some point hi def. I really wanna know the story here... you are one of the most active in the OD, but I really hope you didnt play the game, lose... and turn it off without coming back to hope the sim gets you a win....

Making a record of this so it doesn't happen again. If it does, yea well you get the drill. I will give you the benefit of the doubt this time, but i know you logged on and recruited and played at some point, and I saw you log in and check the OD for advance this evening.. without any message from you or post on here as to why ur late.. just makes you look that much more guilty

consider this the one and only warning

Yo,

I've been waiting to get internet access to even be able to sign on here to post. We've been having problems with out wireless around the house here and I was disconnected while having loaded the game twice. The second time - I simply logged into the OD tried to play the game and it just froze at the game screen. I'm not trying to pull a fast one on anyone - I got what I deserved in the result of a simmed-game. Sorry for any confusion and thank you for that benefit.

If thats the case then ok thats fine, but you gotta communicate man. I didn't see you pulling a fast one anyways, you just arent the type that I can tell, but when I dont hear anything I have to assume the worst. Next time, send mea PSN msg or log onto AIM once in a while and let me know whats up, or worst case post here

Like I was saying, my connection was terrible and yesterday was my long day at school. I could've cut class to let you know I was having connection issues but let's be rational here, lol. School paid over $3000 tuission for > NCAA. UNFORTUNATELY. lol

I appreciate your understanding, this is by far the best OD I've ever been apart of and have no intentions on cheating or leaving any time soon.

Update wise - the IT guy has come but most of you know how that goes, they come fix one thing you're back up and running then next thing you know. Thankfully this week we've got a bye and I'll go do my recruiting right now. Sorry again Clark.

No Im saying, you were able to recruit.. try to play the game, and then you logged in at 4pm or so yesterday because I was online when you did. I meant you could have sent me a message then to let me know you had issues.

Obviously I dont expect anyone to miss work or school... its no big deal, just saying for you and everyone elses benefit, communication is key to avoiding misunderstandings
