Ole Miss Beats Washington in great game

Wife was bitching for TV so no stats.

Bolden had 198 yards on about 20 carries, 2 TDs

My Frosh QB had around 200 yards and 4 TDs, 0 Ints

Neither team had a turnover, in the rain.

Basically Wash got 1st ball, went 3 and out, and every possession the rest of the game the team scored. Ole Miss had the ball 6 times, scored 6 TDs. DMT kept living by the hair of his ass, going 4/4 on 4th down, and soooo many 3rd down conversions. Had 1st and goal once and it took 4th and inches and he got it in.

But late in the 4th Q, down 7, he was driving, when his son disconnected the internet. Since I had a 7 pt lead late, he hadn't stopped me all game, and since he worked nights the next 2 nights and we really wouldn't have another chance to play (and the fact it was his PS3 that dc'd) we just had me continue the game. Final score was the same as it likely would have been anyways

GG DMT. Look forward to next season

The Oracle

The Bulls shock the world by blowing out Texas and Flordia

Coming into this season after the loss of their Soph(RS) QB BJ Daniels to the NFL draft and Maxwell Award winner Senior Carlton Mitchell, things weren't looking the greatest. Even with a #11 ranking fans were looking at deja vu from last season as they started off ranked and then saw a 1-4 record to start the year. Until fans first saw Senior Fozzy Whittaker, a transfer from Texas, and Evan Landi in action. Due to a canceled contract with Iowa, USF had to find a replacement for the second half of a home and home series and who better to play than #3 Texas. It was plastered all over ESPN about how it would be #11 Fozzy Whittaker vs #3 Texas. The ABC game of the week things were ready in Raymond James Stadium, as Whittaker and Landi showcase their talents.

Things started off slow for the Bulls with 7-3 Texas lead after the 1st quarter, but it Fozzy wasnt going to be denied the endzone in the first half against his former team as he put on in with 51 seconds left to go. In the second half, Whittaker showed his old team what they were missing and took off scoring 3 times (2 rushing, 1 receiving). Landi after a miserable first half also stepped up his game hooking up with Senior Aston Samuels for 7 Rec and 143 yards. In the end it turned out to be the defense making key plays to stop the Texas offense from scoring as they caused 6 Turnovers with Senior Tyson Butler returning INT 97 yards for a touchdown to start off a 21 point 4th quarter for the Bulls. After the game Whittaker went over and congraulated his old teammates on a good game and told Junior Garrett Gilbert, who went 18-37, 406 yds and 3 TDs, that he will be watching when he watching Texas hook OU.

Now that the Bulls proved they can play in the big game and improved their winning streak on national tv to 2-0. But it wasnt with out controversy. Coach Dotterer (Dotts) has been leading the Bulls for the past years, with 2 Big East championships and 2 BCS bowl wins, and with beating the #3 team in the nation in Texas they were vaulted to #7. Earlier today on his twitter page Dotts' brother Coach Dotterer (Dotts5) had this to say, "why the Bulls are ranked higher than us is mind-blowing, we will just have to beat them silly when we visit them in 2 weeks". Dotts5 was on his brothers coaching staff his first year with USF as an Assistant coach, but after one year he got the Head Coaching job at Clemson and lead them to a 11-2 season just missing the ACC conference championship and knocking off the then #3 team in the land Georgia Tech. Dotts came back with this statement in a press conference before the Flordia game, "We have got two good seasons under our belt and take everything one game at a time. After we play Flordia this week I will address his comments."

So with his mind on the Florida, Dotts looks to get back at the Gators for the 31 point comeback in the 4th quarter that his team was handed in the swamp last year. And boy was that exactly what the #7 Bulls did. After getting down 17-10 in the second quarter the Bulls defense showed the Gators why they are the best team in Florida. Causing an INT late in the second and turning that into a 78 yd drive capped by a 3 yd TD run by Whittaker with 5 seconds left. Proving that the Bulls are a second half football team, they started 2 scores in the first 2 minutes. One a 2 yd run by Whittaker and the second happened on the ensuing play as they returned a fumble 29 yds for a TD. Whittaker took home player of the game honors for the second week in a row, on 22 carries 106 yds and 2 TDs.

After the game spirits were high as the Bulls start off 2-0 and ranked in the top 10. Students have already started to camp outside for the best seats for the game at Raymond James Stadium against #12 Clemson that has National Championship implications .

lol brothers in real life? This is making up for quite the game. USF is looking pretty good and if they keep playing this well - no doubt will they be a contender for the NC.

Landshark Stadium - Miami, Fl
WVU 41 Miami 16

The Mountaineers roll into Miami and take down the U!!!!!!!!

Week 2 991A0001_2_JPEG_SCREENSHOT_YgJ-1

Coach Ed wasn't sure what he had in this team going into the season, since only a few weeks ago he was recruiting for TCU, but he sure did like what he saw. Sophmore QB Eugene Smith did what was asked of him, managing the game with no mistakes. He wound up 9-11 for 170 yards. Bradley Starks led WVU with 77 yards on 3 catches from the slot and TE Tyler Urban added 40 yards on 3 grabs. The offensive line of the EERS dominated Miami's D-front as WVU piled up 43 pancakes and no sacks. Mark Rogers led all rushers with 121 yards on 21 carries and backup Tavon Austin ran for 4 scores and 96 yards. Backup QB Coley White added a TD on a short option run. Defensively, the EERS only got one sack from Julian Miller, but Jacory Harris was pressured numerous times and WVU totalled 11 pass breakups. Miami only managed 18 yards rushing, but only truly ran the ball 6 times. Harris wound up with 246 yards and a TD, but was only 16 for 36. Good game mmmgood and good luck the rest of the season!!!!
