Is this limit just for the season, or when we go to the off season we have a limit on how many players we can get?

This is the limit for it all. If you lose juniors before offseason tho, you can add that # to the total

After the first year in one of my other OD's...I realized saving a few is actually better in case the new recruits added are interested in you lol

Ok guys on these limits:

Take your total # on roster.

Subtract seniors and whoever else is leaving for whatever reason

add the # of recruits posted above (seniors +4)

If you are WAY below 70, let me know. if you are below 68, you can add whatever # of recruits to make you at least at 68

If you need help with this let me know.

the site where you got our season rules for last season also has a list of what to do with guys recruiting over..cant believe i lost track i was countin my shit like a mother fucker lol...but here's what I would think is a good idea:

1st offense 1-2 schollies- loss of 1 schollie and a home game for the next season
1st offense 3-5 schollies- loss of 5 schollies and a home game for the next season
1st offense 5+ schollies- loss of equal amount of schollies and 2 home games for the next season

2nd offense 1-2 schollies- loss of 2 schollies and 2 home games for the next season
2nd offense 3-5 schollies- loss of 10 schollies and 2 home games for the next season
2nd offense 5+ schollies- loss of equal amount of schollies plus 5 more and 2 home games for next season

That's just me I'm pretty tough when it comes to sanctions lol I think the loss of schollies is good cuz most walk ons are gona bring your school ratings down...and losing home games affects recruiting too...and if it means I gotta lose a schollie and a home game for this upcoming season then i gota deal with it lol and this is coming from a guy who was over by 1 lol i wanna see what everyone else thinks lol

While I'm all for the recruiting sanctions clark some of the guys in my recruiting class I didn't offer schollies to. The three 2* WR's and the two 2* OLB's signed to my class were guys that I didn't offer to. Didn't even talk to them lol I'm all for giving out sanctions if we go over our offers...but I didn't have any contact with them lol...don't think we should be penalized for the guys who had us as #1 and basically walked on with us lmao was it just my class or did other guys who went over have this happen to them too?? Question

That's a good point, I signed some in-state recruits that I didn't even offer a scholarship to or even call. They must've been die-hard Cowboy fans. How can you punish someone for going over when one or more of their recruits weren't even approached?

you guys should have all your assistance turned to off then. I am in 2 other ODs where there are limits, and everyone always hits his limit perfectly or just short. Never over. Literally never

Its easy to control.

Ill think on this before the new season starts. But it will at the very minimum be that you will lose however many you went over for next season. But thats in reality just a "break even" penalty so likely there will be more. I like the idea of losing home games and such as well.

yeah cuz taking that home game away means we'd have to make our visits larger, making those games even more important lol that shit is a loud wake up call when you gota play your lone OOC game against the CPU on the road instead of at home lol

yea my bro has assistance off, just checked, and i was recruiting for him and no 2 stars were on his board what so ever...and i looked at my usf ones and there where guys that weren't on my board either that signed with me and i dont have assistance on either...so i would have to say there would be no penalty on that one because i should have only had 14 guys signed at teh end of the year bc i didnt have any 2 star guys on my board...

i think if you dont get your "needs" its going ot auto sign guys that are lower star just to fill your requirements...that shouldnt be punishable if the cpu auto signs guys just because your needs arent filled, even though you have assistance off

yeah i didn't even need WR's i had like 8 on roster already lol i filled all my needs but the CPU automatically did it.. I know my Huskies had a down year but there's no way I'm signing wide outs with 82 speed lmao and LB's with 68 speed hell no lmao

I dont know what to tell you guys. Something is obviously wrong in what you were doing and you dont realize it. The game cant just hand out spots when it wants. Otherwise my team and the others that stopped at their limit would have went over..... using your logic
