damn ed you got USC two years in a row pale think you got the speed to match up with them this year? clark i'm telling you man i wana see a 70 by Ole Miss's name after the national game!!! Damn I hate you Charlie Weis...Cal vs UNC should be an easy W Cal has playmakers all over the field...and Riley torched my D..worst defensive game we had all year lmao..Iowa should stomp Wake they won the title ly and dude didn't leave the cupboard bare lol Clemson should beat Auburn...I mean come on it's Gene Chizik lmao USF should be able to put a hurtin on Nebraska but their QB's have speed at like 85 I think...can be deadly if your not watchin them..UCF shouldn't have any problems with Ga Tech and the option running...just beat them as Western Kentucky in my 1*...in year 2 lol...so good luck to all my bowl bound users!!!! the offseason is right around the corner!!!

Bowl Weeks Empty Motor City Bowl

Post  heismaqb01 Thu Sep 24, 2009 9:34 pm

Detroit, Mi.- The Motor City Bowl wasn't much of a game between the Buffalo Bulls and Michigan State Spartans. The game was the debut of the Spartan's new head coach. Kirk Cousins started off on fire as he threw for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns until he left the game during the second quarter with broken ribs. Edwin Baker picked up the slack and picked up 184 yards on the ground. The Spartan defense was strong but will lose most of their players to graduation at the end of the season. The bowl was a big win for the first year coach and they look to take this momentum into the recruiting season.

Las Vegas Bowl - Las Vegas, Nevada
TCU 34 USC 19

Bowl Weeks 991A0001_1_JPEG_SCREENSHOT_HSb

All the experts figured TCU would have a let down since they didn't make it back to the BCS, they couldn't have been more wrong. TCU brought back the 4-2-5 in this game and boy did it pay off. Mitch Mustain didn't have time to find the open man. He finished 13-26 206 yards and 2 picks. The two USC backs, McKnight and Tyler, combined for only 38 yards on 13 carries and no TD's. The USC defense came to play as they picked off Dalton twice, one going back for a score, caused a fumble deep in their own territory and recorded a safety, but on this day it was the Horned Frog defense that stole the show. Junior SS Demarco Bledsoe, recorded 3 sacks, RE Braylon Broughton recorded 2, LE Ross Forrest had 2, and DT Wayne Daniels had 1. That doesn't include all the hits that Mustain took over the course of 4 quarters. CB Johnny Fobbs and SS Malcom Williams both had interceptions, one being in the endzone, and the other being in the red zone. Ross Forrest also took a Mustain fumble back 41 yards for a score after Broughton leveled him. Offensively, TCU played ball control the whole game, mixing in short passes with the run. Pressure forced Dalton into 2 interceptions, but overall he played a good game. He finished 19-26 264 yards, a TD and the aformentioned 2 picks. All three backs found the endzone with backup Dean rushing 10 times for 71 yards and a score after Terrell went down with broken ribs, but not before recording 52 yards and a score. 3rd stringer Wesley made the most of his only carry for a TD. Receiving, Bart Johnson led everyone with 98 yards and a TD on 5 catches. All in all, it was a disappointing season for TCU, but it was nice to exact some revenge on USC after last years BCS bowl loss!!!!

P.S. Had one play that I wish I could have had the replay from, it was a definite incomplete pass that was never even caught, and the WR was out of bounds and they reviewed it and called it a catch, absolute bs...lol. Craziness

Not Much To Discuss on the Cal vs UNC in the Emerald Bowl... It was also the debut of a new head coach out in Cal. A lot of new coaches going into bowl week it must be a new trend. It was a pretty close game as the new coach got acclimated with the players and play makers on his team. The passing offense was prolific as Riley went 28 of 41 439 and 5 td Jahvid Best was held to only 66yrds on 19 carries. Lets not leave out the wide receivers that went ape on that unc defense. Calvin had 15 rec for 223 1 td and Jones had 7 receptions for 129 and 2 tds. The defense held the run game in check only giving up 66 yds on the ground. Thru the air however it was a different story as UNC threw for 322 and 3 tds. Whats important is cal gets this win giving a good end to a decent season and building up some momentum to sway some of these kids they are recruiting into coming to Cal. Next year it will be a fight for the pac-10 crown watch out for the Cal Golden Bears..

Clemson 36 - Auburn 35

OMG this was an awesome game to watch so stressful but Clemson prevailed with Baldwin the Mackey Award winner grabbing the game winning TD with 20 seconds left to go

I didnt have the PC near me to do a big writeup... but ND beat Ole Miss for nat title today 56-21.

ND went up 21-0 early and 28-7 at half. I couldnt run (2.0 ypc) and couldnt pass... it was one of those games where nobody human was gonna win that one. I hate that about EA... they seem to have a random dice roll with the odds stacked based on how good teams are, and sometimes you roll a loss.

Threw 4 picks, 3 of which were perfectly read passes that had some safety making a superman pick. Had 6 total turnovers.

Yea one of those games
